About Bama Backroads

Bama Backroads is published from Morgan County, Alabma.  It is the outlet for an appreciation of the backroad life and of nature in our state. 

Contributors to this site range from dogs to kids.  This hound may not pick up a pen, for purposes other than gnawing, or use a keyboard for anything but a head rest, but she knows lots of interesting facts.  We like to think of her as the face of Bama Backroads because the rest of us are camera shy hermit people.  Here is probably the best photo you'll ever see of the editor, Anita Smith.  Reluctlantly, she came out from under her rock for this shot.
